Scientists from the University of Scranton, headed by Joe Vinson reported that walnuts contains almost 2 times more antioxidants than any other nut. But, unfortunately, walnut is not particularly popular.
"Antioxidants in walnuts two times more than other types of nuts, which are much more popular: peanuts, almonds, pecans, pistachios and others. A walnut contains a large amount of vitamin E, which is famous for its powerful antioxidant effect and protects the body against damage from chemicals, and will help to resist the disease," says Vinson. But you don't need to eat a day more than seven nuts, experts warn.
