Smart window that filters the sunlight

A team of scientists from the National laboratory Lawrence Berkeley introduced a new smart window that is covered with a layer of nanocrystals.

Connecting it to a special sensor, the researchers turned to filter sunlight coming into the room: depending on wishes and weather conditions, it is possible to obtain only visible light without heating the infrared radiation or to shade a window, but leave the possibility of the rays to warm the room, you can completely ignore or confine the radiation.

This technology looks much better than the Harvard scientists proposed water cooling of the glass can be massively applied in the future.
