What is fitness yoga?
In our days in the gym, a new direction fitness yoga which is considered to be one of the most young shoots rather Ashtanga (or Raja) yoga.
The question arises – what is fitness yoga different from the usual yoga? I guess the main difference are problems that are solved in fitness-yoga in health clubs-is the correction and improvement of posture, awareness of the depths of the body, balance in the muscles of both surface and deep. Along with the fact that the purpose of training in its broadest sense remains the same as in the normal version of yoga – self-realization.
So, fitness yoga is simple and available to most people. Perform asanas is not so difficult, based on them was more than safe, to perform the ordinary student poses. On a regular, one-hour classes, are given inverted postures. Classes of longer duration — for clients who have mastered the beginner level perform the poses got stronger physically and learned to control your body, it is already possible to include inverted poses.
But we should always focus on the level of physical and mental preparedness involved and take into account their health status (such as: osteochondrosis, and displacement of the vertebrae in the cervical spine, changes in the functioning of the thyroid gland, etc.).
