The Mexican made an orchestra out of decommissioned weapons

Peace-loving artist Pedro Reyes (Pedro Reyes) offered to "surrender all arms" in the name of art. He made his mini-orchestra "Disarm" (Disarmament) of rifles, pistols and machine guns that are already decommissioned, their confiscated from Mexican drug traffickers. And it attracts only from a musical point of view.

Before starting to use weapons for peaceful purposes, Reyes, as a true artist, it is, of course, a bit of modernizing in order to become a part of an amazing orchestra. The result was a very complex, beautiful in their mechanical design.

As for the musical side of this project, "Disarm" is a collaboration with Pedro Reyes media Studio Cocolab in Mexico city and some of the musicians. Thanks to them, every instrument is controlled by computer and can be programmed for reproduction of his party.

Instruments of the orchestra, though not at full strength, can be seen in different galleries and museums around the world. And now to watch and listen to this unusual project is possible thanks to the videos:
