The company Pangea Motors, based in Vancouver (WA), will release a 16-seater electric minibus, called "Comet". In cooperation with its Philippine partner, Global Electric Transportation (GET), Pangea Motors is implementing a project on introduction of public transport with zero emissions in the capital of the Philippines.

Park of outdated diesel buses in the city is 50,000 units. According to estimates of environmentalists, vehicles are responsible for 85% of air pollution in the capital.
