Temporary henna tattoos can cause rashes, blisters and scars

Doctors report a growing number of patients seeking counseling each year after an unhealthy reaction to temporary henna tattoos. The main manifestations include rashes and blisters, in the long term - the formation of scars and scars, increased light sensitivity of the skin. Basically, the development of such side effects is associated with high ambient temperature.

The United States Food and Drug Administration has warned of possible health problems caused by temporary body tattoos. To prove the validity of this hypothesis, clinical trials are needed, the purpose of which will be to study the doses of natural pigment that can cause allergic reactions.

To avoid the negative effects of temporary tattoos this summer, follow the following rules:
  • Try not to wet the picture in the first few days, exclude contact with detergents
  • Apply vegetable oils to the tattoo site for the first 2-3 days
  • before going outside, apply sunscreen to the tattoo site (of course, not immediately after applying the picture)
  • in case of a negative reaction from the skin, do not self-medicate, and go straight to the doctor!
