Korean designers have proposed a unique concept Skyfarm, in the spirit of the hanging gardens of Babylon.

A giant skyscraper with a height of 160 meters, will have a 144 thousand square meters of green space. According to the developers, finding eco-friendly facility in the city will improve the environmental quality through air filtration.

Design green garden is based on the principle of the tree: root, trunk, branches, and leaves. Each component has its own characteristics, need for specific sectors of agriculture. As stated by the creators, "the Urban Skyfarm creates a mini ecosystem which brings balance back to the urban community." The tower will be built in Jung-GU (Seoul) and will provide fruits and vegetables to nearby residents. Skyfarm is 34445 square feet of solar panels and wind turbines — enough to provide the entire structure.
