In the Irkutsk region found a gold nugget weighing more than 6 kg
A gold nugget weighing 6.66 kg was found at one of the fields of the Bodaibinsky district of the Irkutsk region.
Surprisingly, special metal detectors initially mistook a piece of gold for garbage or pebbles, throwing it away. It was accidentally discovered by one of the workers when he began to level the dump.
“Devil’s Ear” has already entered the list of the largest nuggets ever found in the Bodaibinsky district. According to the director of the enterprise LLC "Ugahan" Sergey Kozlov, who owns the find, no one hoped to find such a nugget, since the gold content of the new deposit is small. However, now the workers do not exclude that they will get a similar copy.
