Wooden interior for cafe

Famous for its hamburgers, Shake Shack has opened doors to visitors in the New York borough of Brooklyn. Moreover, the new institution is remarkable not only for its delicious cakes and desserts made of cotton candy. The furniture for the diner was made by designer Mark Jupiter, who is famous for his work from recycled eco-materials.

Mark created a set of tables and furniture handmade from collected in the vicinity of New York recycled forest. This gave Shake Shack a unique style, which combines the urbanism of the surrounding area and the interior of natural wood. Every piece of furniture made from factory beams taken from the surrounding area has a Shake Shack diner symbol.

Brooklyn-based architect Mark Jupiter is known far beyond New York for his jewelry prowess, his commitment to using eco-friendly recycled materials, and his work from the New World Home series.

All of Jupiter’s furniture is handcrafted right in the heart of Brooklyn in its newly expanded workshop and exhibition hall. To give the diner the unique spirit of Brooklyn, Jupiter created all the furniture for Shake Shack from 400-year-old pine beams that were discarded at local construction sites such as the closed Brillo Soap and Arbuckle Coffee warehouses.

From the windows of the century-old brick house on Old Fulton Street, 1, a unique Brooklyn Shake Shack diner offers a magnificent view of Manhattan. In the back of the hall, visitors can see a cozy wood stove. In addition to the usual Shake Shack menu, the new diner will also offer unique dishes, such as the new Jane Carousel dessert. The company also plans to open a third establishment in Brooklyn, across the street from Barclays Center.
