Scientists have discovered and proved a strong relationship between the terms "workaholic" and "alcoholic". According to them, people who spend in the workplace more than 60 hours a week, have a propensity to alcoholism. The risk of a workaholic compared to unemployed increases by 3-4 times.

Scientists came to this conclusion through research, based on establishing the relationship between the number of hours worked and the degree of attractiveness of alcohol. It turned out that people who spend more than 50 hours a week, get a large amount of stress with which they are not able to cope on their own. In the end, 92% of them choose to "drown" problems in alcohol.Those who work 25-45 hours per week, according to scientists, less prone to stress and easier to deal with them. The risk of developing alcoholism such workers only 1-1,5 times higher than that of the unemployed.
