Summer house made of secondary materials - Topanga Cabin

It all started with inviting friends to come and see a cabin in Topanga Canyon, California. Architect Peter Mason fell in love with the place. There were a few houses, but everyone was already renting, so Peter decided to build his own little hut.

He started his project with cleaning the site and sorting materials. Construction began in spring 2011. Peter worked mostly on weekends, twice a month for 2 years and completed the cabin in 2013.

Let this summer house serve as an inspiration for all who dream of a beautiful, secluded place.
