Belarusian businessman, bought and restored an abandoned village

That's really a few decades as the village of Manevichi languished. A dozen of only a few houses remained residential, the Executive Committee seriously thought about the fact that it could be wiped off the map this small town. Such has been the fate of many Belarusian villages, however, Chenevich lucky enough. Four years ago, through her passing hunters. I looked around at the devastation and desolation, and on his return to the city one of them told me about an unenviable share of the village to a colleague-businessman Pavel Radukevich. Since then, Tunewiki unexpectedly stepped into "the Renaissance".

— There were rumors, they say, the businessman gave their children the village. To put it mildly, does not correspond to reality — tells us the son of businessman Ivan, Vice head of the farm "the White meadows", which now owns virtually all the buildings in Trevico. — The idea to revive the village, created on its basis of the property came up to the Pope. He was born in a village in the Lida district and, of course, missed the village. My sister and the idea of his father supported and we make every effort to as quickly as possible realized. In fact, today a lot of children that a cow with a Turkey alive never saw, and we want those gaps to be filled.

The village inherited the Minsk businessman and his children, was a pitiful sight. The plots are so overgrown with bushes that could not see the houses on the road barely pass — but she still somehow maintained, as he was in the local cemetery. One house, apparently, before burned, the other was standing with a collapsed roof. Had only two huts that were used as summer cottages. Naturally, most of the sites bought for pennies: they are no longer needed. The biggest challenge was to find heirs, to convince them to make documents and to buy the land.

It is hard to imagine that four years ago, Tunewiki breathed its last.

Ivan holds for us a small tour. At the entrance — gate, near where the clock resides, the administrator located the office, reception and a small shop. Near the apiary. Parking will be located in front of the barrier, and in the village itself, they will have to travel by bike or on foot.

In addition to diverse houses (some more, others less, there are two families with separate entrances), there will be three rooms, a large and a small tavern. Near each house will break a small kitchen garden, so that guests can season to break from the beds of onions, parsley, dill, digging a few tubers of potatoes.

Near the village flowed the river, it was blocked by a dam, and now here you can swim in the lake of a decent size. On the lake built a large stage and an auditorium, which can accommodate up to 300 people.

Just in the village there are six remaining homes, others built log cabins brought from other villages, and transported them together with old furniture, cashing, floors. Most of these log cabins stand in the place of old buildings in an effort to preserve the authenticity.

We want Tunewiki perceived not as agro — says Ivan. — Rather, we wanted to create something between Dodatkami and Strochitsa. On the one hand, it will be pleasant to relax, we will try to create unobtrusive informative and entertaining infrastructure, in which, for example, our guests can take a master class in pottery, to see how pumped the honey from the honeycomb and so on. However, all the buildings in the village is authentic, with their own history, and most importantly — a functioning. You can choose any to live in it.

In the center of the village on the shore of an artificial lake stands a large tavern. The location was not chosen accidentally: so it was located at the beginning of last century in many Belarusian villages. According to Ivan, the building is assembled from several huts, the walls inside plastered with clay, as it did hundreds of years ago by our ancestors. It turned out very well.

— We have the ability to use your own equipment, there are the building materials of its own production. This, of course, is much cheaper the cost of the project, — says Ivan. — Many people think that this project invested far over a million dollars, but it's not. We created a lot of jobs. Today in Trevico employs 15 people in surrounding villages. Bus to put together, passing about 40 km.

Ivan is an architect, he proudly shows us one of his wishes: to each village home, standing here, a large terrace with views of the pond. "Modernization" went to the village huts to the benefit of and fits quite organically. Inside, the house looks like a neat rustic hut, however, while in this house there is a boiler drain, a shower cabin.

All households are "White meadows" 40 hectares of land, out of which 20 arable, the rest deodorize and meadows. While the majority of their planting buckwheat. He is experienced and the areas planted with raspberry bushes, an apiary, and soon plan to plant medicinal herbs.

This construction is nothing like a farm snails. All seriously: it was purchased breeding herd of 160 head, now it has grown considerably, some of the snails from the "pen" has managed to escape, and now they can be found in the most unexpected places.

We would like to see here for tourists who come for a few days, — sums up Ivan. Presumably the accommodation will cost about $40-50 per person per day, and this amount is included and meals. Thus, the tour for 5 days will cost $200-250, I think it's not so much money. Add to that the daily cultural programme, a compulsory bath, and for a fee — some interesting trips, good near a Mir, Novogrudok and Nesvizh castles, the lake of Svityaz ' and many other interesting objects. This is pretty good! We understand that to attract tourists, need to be constantly available. So we are quite wary of corporate events and weddings. Carry them on our site, but this should not lead to "mere mortals" Teneviki will be the object permanently closed for a private party. published
