Volvo launches its electric buses on the roads of Sweden
The first environmentally friendly Volvo buses will ply on a new route in the project ElectriCity — an initiative to develop public transport the new generation, do not pollute the environment.
Initially the route will leave three fully electric buses Volvo, and seven cars with a hybrid power plant. To recharge the batteries they will be able to end stations. And the energy will derive primarily from renewable sources.
