Created an engine that could power the Martian colonists
The Martian colonists, thanks to research by scientists from Northumbria University (UK), can obtain energy from carbon dioxide. The news was published on the website ScienceDaily.
Scientists made a project engine, which is capable of producing energy based on the phenomenon known as the Leidenfrost effect. This effect occurs when liquid is in contact with the surface whose temperature is much higher than its boiling point. Pieces of dry ice — frozen CO2 can levitate over a hot surface, hovering over layers own a pair. Scientists from Northumbria University have come up with a way out of this pair to get energy enough to bring the engine in motion. This is the first, but quite successful when the Leidenfrost effect used for energy.
Thus, a trip to Mars at one end, becoming less like madness.published
