In Germany there was a bottle with a message sent 108 years ago

In the early twentieth century a man named George Parker Bidder was sent to the free swimming in the North sea 1020 bottles with messages in which the finder was asked to describe where you found the bottle, and send a note to the specified address for a fee. Most of the bottles returned to the sender fast enough, but one of them, as recently revealed, traveled more than a century.

The couple found an unusual object on the shore of the island of Amrum in Germany. Breaking the bottle, Marianne and Horst Winkler got to the message which contained a request to send a note to the address of the Marine biological Association of the UK. Conscious Germans followed the instruction, thereby causing quite a stir in academic institutions.

It should be noted that the organization has fulfilled the promise of the reward and sent the spouses the old English shilling. This amount was promised to the finder of the bottle in an old note. The money will not go to use, and useful only for collection. published
