How to Make Apple Cider Vinegar

Products:

  • 6 large apples (if you don’t know where to buy them, clean your skin to avoid pesticides)
  • 2 – 2.5 tbsp brown cane sugar or honey
  • 2 to 2.5 cups of filtered water (or boil and cool)

Note:

If you want to leave the skin of apples, make sure they are washed very, very well. Organic apples that you can afford are preferred. Secondly, it is normal to use apples with brown spots or bruises. However, make sure they are not moldy or rotten.

Method of preparation:

1.If the apples are bought, of course, you should immediately peel them from the skin. Then simply cut them, without cleaning the cores, into pieces of 2 - 2.5 cm. Place everything in a glass jar, filling it with a maximum of 3/4. There should be enough space for expansion and a little foam.

Council:Do not use a liter jar, you may have very large apples. Do not hesitate to use any size of bank you have.

2.Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 cups of filtered water to the jar so that the apples are completely submerged in water. If not, you can add an additional 1/2 tbsp of sugar and 1/2 cup of water. An alternative to sugar is honey if you don’t have organic brown sugar.

Sugar is used to start the fermentation process. Stir apples, sugar and water.

Council:If you use a different sized jar, remember that the ratio of sugar to water should be 1 tablespoon of sugar (honey) per 1 cup of water.

3.After mixing the resulting mixture, put it in a dark and warm place, by the way, make sure that the sugar melts completely. A good place can be the top cabinet in the kitchen.

Next, the mixture should stand for about 2 weeks.
