On the island of Crete, production starts Sunnyclist car, powered by solar batteries.

Autonomous and practical car was developed on Crete, and for its final development it took 4 years. Sunnyclist the cost is estimated at half the cost of the European vehicles on solar energy, that is, approximately 6500-7000 Euro.

Design triple, three-wheeled car with a hybrid engine is manufactured using the most modern computer engineering programs.

With 660Wp photovoltaic generator and an engine power of 4 KV, the carSunnyclist can travel about 240 miles on a solar battery with a capacity of only 3 kWh, while a similar small electric car uses a battery 4 times larger capacity.

Sunnyclist have individual foot compact devices. Each passenger can contribute with the provision of car energy using this pedal generator. This solution provides the reliability, flexibility and independence in case of lack of solar energy.





 

As reported by the developers, it is planned the production of three car types: Sunnyclist City, Sunnyclist Traveler and Sunnyclist Hotel.

Currently a campaign in support of the innovative project, which will last for two months, after which the developers plan to proceed immediately to the production of cars Sunnyclist.
