The Most Motivating Calendar in the World
How fast the weekends fly and how long the workdays last. And every New Year’s Eve, we make wishes again and it seems that the last New Year was just recently. Feeling familiar? In the daily hustle and bustle, it is easy to lose track of time. Even Einstein proved that time is a relative concept.
Most people use calendars and diaries to plan their time. And remember, until recently in every house hung a detachable calendar. I remember as a child it was great to know that in exactly a year this will end and we will hang a new one. A big and solid calendar inspired confidence that next year there are enough days to have time to do everything. .
So great at the beginning of the year to make plans for next year ... and put things off for next month, then another one. And then you can get a new calendar and continue for another year :
I don't know about you, but a regular calendar doesn't motivate me, it demotivates me. After all, it always has empty cages, and modern electronic calendars allow you to postpone things for decades ... oh how convenient.
We all know that our time is limited. You can't live forever. And best of all, this idea is reflected by the so-called Pinary calendars (from the word “kick”).
Here is one such calendar:
On it, 52 two cells are laid horizontally, each meaning one week. The years are vertically measured. This is how you can fit 80 years of life into one sheet.
Try to print it out and begin to cross out each cell, starting from the lower left and continue to cross out the past weeks, row after row until today. Very strange feeling... not pleasant. Look at the crossed out cells - this time is not back. What will you fill in the rest?
Print this calendar and hang it in front of you. At the end of each week, put a cross if nothing good has happened in that week, and draw a square if that week was full of meaning. In a few months, you will be able to visualize the “fullness” of your life. published
P.S. And remember, just changing our consumption – together we change the world!
