Region "1000 Islands"
Region "1000 Islands" stretches for 80 km and is located between the cities of Kingston and Brockville (on the Canadian side). In fact, there is a little more than 1,800 islands. Back in the early 18th century they were counted, divided into 8 groups (in size) and groups were given names according to the rank of marine terminology British fleet.
