"Military Steel" - jewelry egg, one of the fifty-two Imperial Easter eggs made by Faberge for the Russian imperial family.
Created in 1916 for Tsar Nicholas II and donated Easter his wife, Empress Alexandra Feodorovna.
At the moment the egg is in the Armory Museum in Moscow and remains one of the few Faberge eggs, do not leave the borders of Russia.
The egg has a strict appearance: shiny steel shell is divided by two smooth horizontal lines into three parts. In the center of the gold placed overhead image of the emblem of the Russian Empire, St. George, the date "1916", surrounded by a laurel wreath, monogram and Alexandra Feodorovna. Crowned imperial crown golden egg. Stand is made of jade with a gold border, where the corners are four steel artillery shells.

Egg was created as a gift to his wife of Emperor Nicholas, Alexandra Feodorovna at Easter in 1916. In 1927 he was transferred to the People's Commissariat Monetary Fund in the Moscow Kremlin.
