City of Arts and Sciences in Spain

The grand-art architectural complex, built in the last 8 years on the right bank of the old river Turia, is intended to be for the people of the province and numerous tourist center accumulates the latest achievements of science and art, and disseminate knowledge among the general visitors. After the catastrophic floods in 1957 started up the river in a new direction to the south of the city, and the former turned into a park 10 km, which has become for citizens real green light. City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia has become a symbol of the future, which has recently called "the garden and the garden of Spain." It was designed by the world-renowned Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and Felix Candela.
