Japanese equivalent of «LOL» - is the letter W
If you have ever read Japanese forums, you may notice that messages often found the letter «W». By this is meant the Japanese word "Vara" from their language, which means "laughter." Sometimes writing "Vara" they use a special character 笑.
But looks like "lol" in other languages:
- «Mdr» in French and Esperanto. In French it is a shorthand expression «mort de rire», which means "to die of laughter", and in Esperanto «multe da ridoj», translated as "a lot of laughter»;
- «Mkm» Pashto, the language of Afghanistan means «ma khanda mikonom», or «I laugh»;
- «Ha3» in Malay, the language of Malaysia, people write to reduce «hahaha»;
- Jajajá - a Spanish way of writing "ha-ha-ha." Sometimes there is a variant without tilde.
