The bad guys often become good businessmen thanks to a combination of intelligence and a willingness to take risks

Teens involved in illegal activities such as drugs and receiving at the same time having the highest scores in intellectual tests in the future, have all chances to become a millionaire. This is according to a new report from the National Bureau of Economic Research.

History is replete with examples of brave entrepreneurs are not the most perfect past - for example, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, expelled from Harvard University. But recent scientific studies show that there is one particular type of entrepreneur who is likely to be more successful than others.

According to studies, successful entrepreneurs - and more educated people tend to be grown in a family of high-income and two parents. The aptitude test they received at the school score higher than their peers, but also showed an inflated self-image. In later life, such people strive to be leaders and to participate in risky or illegal activities.

Previously, psychologists examined the propensity to risk as abnormal behavior associated with disorders such as drug abuse and manic-depressive psychosis. However, last year's study, conducted at Cambridge, show that entrepreneurs exhibit an adapted type of impulse-risk behavior, allowing them to use their abilities under stress. Often they have a flexible mindset and of themselves are more impulsive, through processes that are closely associated with the chemistry of their brain and, in particular, the neurotransmitter dopamine.
