By a narrow pedestrian street Hanoi train passes

He almost touches the walls domov

In Vietnam, there are railroad tracks that pass through a narrow pedestrian street in a residential area. In the video you can see that the train passes a few feet from the doors of houses.

Hanoi - a unique city, not least because of its narrow streets and buildings. As well as the main railway station in the heart of the city, it is not surprising that the train tracks are on busy streets.

The path to the Long Bien bridge passes through the Old Quarter - a densely populated residential area. The houses are so close to the tracks that people can easily lose a leg, if you make a wrong move or a hand, if put it on the window sill at the wrong time. Fortunately, trains pass only twice a day.

According to Adam Armstrong, who recorded the video and posted it on YouTube in February, the train runs so close to the houses that people have to hide their vehicles at home and alleys in fixed time.

People know very well the train schedule: between four and seven o'clock in the evening the locals suddenly rapidly disappearing from the streets, hurrying to hide. Immediately after the train will travel, life on the street is resumed - people immediately come out of hiding and return to daily activities.

From the fact that people know the schedule, the situation is not getting any safer - it's hard to imagine how many accidents occur every year on the street. But the people, in spite of the danger, living here are kind and friendly.
