Nepal - is a land of mysticism, where the selected few girls who have not attained the age of puberty and worshiped as Kumari Devi, or "virgin goddess." According to tradition, Durga (Hindu goddess of destruction) is embodied in a young girl. Until they reach sexual maturity, Kumari worshiped as deities and are considered protectors of thousands of adoring them Hindus and Buddhists in Nepal.
