Two Belgian designer came up with new containers for food - edible. They are environmentally friendly, tasty, and most importantly - they save people from suffering, in other words, from washing dishes.
The idea of young entrepreneurs visited Helene Thibault Dzhilkina Hoyis and after a festive night when they were alone with the mountain of dirty dishes - and all this had to change. Thibault jokingly said Helen, "That would eat all these dishes!».
Of course, he was joking, but soon the couple thought about the idea seriously. After several unsuccessful attempts they finally managed to come up with a working concept - bowls for food, manufactured and potato starch, water and oil. The material is firm enough that it could put any food, including soups and sauces, but is easily absorbed by the body.
"Bowl digested stomach, as any food. They have a neutral taste, which is suitable for sweet and savory food, "- says 25-year-old Helen.
When the material was invented by Helen Thibault and collected all their savings and created the first prototype. He was successful, and in addition, young people have received financial support from the corporation «Wallonia Creative». Now they have a small office of about 30 km from Brussels and more than 30 associates.
Helen believes that they have created a unique product, but still a lot of work:
"We have done something new, but we need to move faster than the competition - they quickly come up with new types of edible dishes».
So far, there are only edible bowls, but it is planned to create all the utensils: cups, forks, spoons, plates. The company also operates an advertisement booklet - it is necessary to talk about the project and get people's attention. In addition, it plans to sell an edible bowl and in other countries: Spain, France and Switzerland.
"We do not even work, and just do what we love - adds Thibault. - We are making a new dish, because it will be very useful for many people ».
