Ivan Aivazovsky loved to paint the sea. He was born in the Crimea, in the port city of Feodosia. This Russian-Armenian artist just went crazy on the sea waves - he painted them very realistic and as if illuminated from below.
During his life, Aivazovsky wrote more than six thousand paintings, half of them were dedicated to sea and ships.
