Abandoned church with ghosts

Abandoned buildings are so often attracted photographers, even formed a genre dedicated to the study of the ruins. Of particular interest to fans of this theme is to leave the church of St. George in the Czech village of Lukova.





Dilapidated church, empty since 1960, was transformed into an art installation artist Hadrava Jakub (Jakub Hadrava). Empty walkways and benches of the temple is now occupied by the shelter with his head plaster "ghost».

"The figures are the ghosts of the Sudeten Germans, who lived in onion until World War II and came to this church every Sunday to pray. I hope to show the world that this place was the past, and it was part of everyday life "- said Jakub Hadrava.

Thanks to the artist this church, built in the XIV century, there was a bright future. Installation attracts tourists and the money that will rebuild the temple. Meanwhile, photographers from different countries come to this place for the thrill and sentimental cardio.
