A person feels a universal hole within himself, which he tries to fill all his life. It seems to one that worldly goods will give satisfaction that fills the void; to another, that the attainment of spiritual “heights” can relieve hunger.
However, the hole is so vast that no man has thrown into it, no end, no edge. A person is starving, not realizing that the hole “the size of the universe” can be filled only with what is immeasurable and limitless, and this is only Love.
