This is not a simple label that has nothing to reality. One of the largest in Latin America, bookstores, called El Ateneo Grand Splendid, is considered one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, and just the most beautiful in South America.





This store is located in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires. Initially, up to 1920, in this building housed a theater «Teatro Grand Splendid», which was a lot of grandiose speeches. One of the permanent residents of the theater for a long time was Carlos Gardel, who is considered one of the main figures in the process of becoming a tango. By the middle of the last century, the theater was replaced by a cinema which worked until 1991.. By Millenium general decided to demolish the building. Thanks to the inspiration of the architects «Pero and Torres Armengol» building turned into a major bookstore and preserving the historically valuable architecture and frescoes of the building.
