Earthquake in Haiti

Tuesday afternoon, January 12, less than 16 km from Port-au-Prince
there was the strongest earthquake in 200 years, the power of 7.0 points.
Shortly after the first shock was followed by 12 more - all in a 5.0 points.
Collapsed buildings of various types - from the poor huts to monuments
national culture. Restoration work carried out too early,
but millions of people were left homeless and thousands - were killed.
Rescue teams from around the world flock to Haiti to help the victims.
