Haiti - three weeks later
It has been exactly three weeks since January 12, when the Haiti earthquake struck, and the "tent city" was empty even for a day, despite the fact that factories in Port-au-Prince are slowly beginning to open. Most of humanitarian aid has already arrived, and problems with the distribution of food had begun to subside. The World Food Programme has launched a new system of delivery of rice for 10,000 Haitians a day - now the food will be distributed only to women, as men for the products often use force, and women are likely to share the products are more or less honest. Countries assistant declare that Haiti will need at least 10 years to recover.
