The hotel is in the abandoned caves in Italy
The abandoned village of caves of Matera, in the southern part of Italy, is a unique hotel «Sextantio Le Grotte Della Civita», which is owned by Italian Daniele Swede Kilgren (Daniele Kihlgren).
This entrepreneur-philanthropist always preferred something spectacular and unique. Therefore, and I set about trying to create a hotel with eighteen rooms, which include, as modern elements and objects of local culture. Initially, the cave served as a shelter for local farmers. Eventually, they came to the final decline. To restore the original architecture in the form of the cave had to be partially disassembled and then reassembled. Along the way, they are equipped with electrical wiring and plumbing.
