Active Noise in the apartment

Active noise cancellation system developed Rudolf Stefanich, an industrial designer from Austria, calling it Sono. The basis of its work put technology used in headphones. This small device is attached to the window with the help of special suction cups and absorbs most of penetrating into the room from the street outside noise.
In completing the device includes a microphone, a speaker and a built-in processor. The speaker is being pressed to the glass, using it as a resonator to play sounds in the opposition, the processor is analyzing and filtering received from the microphone sound. Thus, the device can selectively suppress the noise, according to the settings entered by the user. For example, to block the noise of car horns, snowplows and cars, but at the same time to pass the sound of rustling leaves and birdsong.

Moreover, Sono can independently play various pleasant to the human ear sounds of nature: the sound of the surf, and so on
In 2013, this concept was among the finalists in the competition JamesDysonAward. Now the author is seeking investors for the start of their project into production.

I unfortunately can not yet post videos so give a detailed reference to the source. There is a video - just a dream machine if even half the truth.
