911 Prestes Maia, 22-storey tower block in the center of Sao Paulo, Brazil, was the largest in the world with an incredible home-density. In the house we lived 1,630, including 468 families and 315 children. All of them are ex-homeless people who settled in the abandoned house benefactors of the "Movement for the homeless».

Photos taken Julio Bittencourt (Julio Bittencourt) and tell the story of people living side by side. Giulio works show how alive rots not only the house but also people who state their indifference separated from society.
