The train stopped ... the hotel!

Yesterday morning at the central railway station in Helsinki four double-decker passenger train car unhooked from the structure during shunting. The cars rolled downhill, struck the concrete barriers and crashed into the building of the hotel Holiday Inn, which is adjacent to the railway station building.

Affected but one railway worker, who was injured hand, no, but the building suffered significant damage to the hotel, all guests were evacuated. Good work station administration - the people on the platform and in the hotel warned about the dangers on the speakerphone. Rail stations restored, but train is come and go out of schedule.
