French swimmer Philippe Kruazon in an accident who lost his arms and legs, is going to swim across the English Channel, the Strait, which separates Britain from France. 32 kilometers the brave Frenchman is going to overcome in 24 hours. If he can make a plan, the feat will be recorded in the book of records, reports The Telegraph.
Kruazon, who was nicknamed "Iron Man" has lost a limb in 1994, after trying to fix the TV antenna and touched the high-voltage wires. Only 2 years ago Philippe could barely swim and barely overcame two lengths of the local pool. But intensive training for 30 hours a week helped him to improve his performance. To help overcome the Pas-de-Calais Kruazonu have specially designed fins, also during the voyage it will soprovozhdatkater with the medical team.
