A giant crocodile weighing one tonne and a length of almost 7 meters was captured alive by the villagers in the Philippines, and they are planning to turn it into a tourist attraction of the southern cities of the country, reports Kaztur.

According to the Mayor Edwin Cox Elorde, the crocodile was captured in a river, in the province of Agusan Bunavan del Sur several dozen villagers who hunted him for three weeks. Experts say that the crocodile could be one of the largest seized in recent years. He killed a buffalo in the past month, as well as a fisherman in July.
After residents threw a crocodile and dragged the net, he was hoisted by crane onto a truck and placed in a fenced area in a newly built ecotourism park.
