American writer Stephen King has announced the release date of his new book Renaissance (Revival), which will be the author's second novel, scheduled for publication in 2014.
On his Facebook page he outlined the outset of the novel. The book will be on sale in the US on November 11.
Revival tells the story of Jamie Morton - guitarist addicted to heroin. Traveling around the country, he meets Charles Jacobs - priest, once arrived in his hometown Jamie, but then became disillusioned with the faith. Morton Jacobs and make a deal, "which is not even dreamed of the devil." The action of the book takes place in the middle of the XX century.
Other books King, is scheduled for release in 2014, will be the detective Mr. Mercedes. In the novel, a retired police officer Bill Hodges with two assistants looking for the driver of the Mercedes, who killed eight people in all, crashing at the job fair.
The last published novel, King became Doctor Sleep (Doctor Sleep) - sequel to the bestselling The Shining. During his 30-year career, Stephen King has published more than 50 novels, which were published around the world with a circulation of more than 350 million copies.
