Photographer Edward Bartinski always been interested in human impact on nature, and he devoted more than 20 years of shooting on this topic. All his works show a retreat under the onslaught of the pristine nature of man.

This series of photographs taken in 2010 and is part of a larger project called Water, work on which Edward began in 2008 and plans to complete in 2013

Rainfed fields where moisture is mainly used, the resulting soil in the spring, usually grow drought-resistant crops, fodder plants and melons.
Rainfed fields are totally dependent on nature, as if rainfall in insufficient quantities, the crop may be reduced or may not be at all.
At present, the series devoted to dry farming, presented at the New York gallery Bruce Volkovitsa.
