Polygon testing
US atmospheric nuclear testing - nuclear weapons tests conducted by the United States from 1945 to 1962. According to official figures, the United States conducted nuclear tests in 1054 (at least 1151 units, 331 ground test), mainly on the ground in Nevada and Pacific Proving Grounds in the Marshall Islands, 10 more trials were conducted in different locations across the US, including Alaska, Colorado, Mississippi, and New Mexico.
