This month in Africa opened its first underwater hotel room. That is the number - the second of its kind in the world.

The design rooms at the Manta Resort (which is located near the island of Pemba in the Indian Ocean) entrusted the Swedish artist Mikael Genberg, who participated in the creation of the world's first underwater hotel in one of the Swedish lakes. Number Manta Resort is fixed at four meters below the surface - a little deeper than the Swedish analogue.



three-storey apartment features a roof-deck, the lower deck where boats moor and, of course, an underwater bedroom with large windows, giving an almost complete overview and allows you to admire the coral reef and observe the life of dozens of species marine inhabitants. The whole structure is securely fastened by means of wire ropes and anchors.

Overnight in a room will cost $ 900 for a single person and $ 1,500 for couples.
