Japanese electronics manufacturer Sharp on Friday introduced a LCD screen capable of displaying three-dimensional images without special glasses. So far, the company did not disclose plans, but there are rumors that the new display will appear on the game console Nintendo DS, which is scheduled for next spring. The new technology allows the viewer to see the three-dimensional image at a distance of 30 centimeters from the screen. As the creators say, the feeling about the same as in 3D-cinema. But there is a significant difference: in order to see the special effects do not require special glasses. According to the manager Sharp Yoshisuke Hasegawa, to create a 3D-screen it took 8 years. The first attempts were unsuitable for commercial use. Picture is blёklaya and low resolution. Only now managed to achieve high-quality three-dimensional image. The Japanese giant is ready to launch the 3D-displays into production this fall. Where exactly will apply new technologies, the company did not say, limited to general statements. According to them, 3D-screens will be used in a wide range of devices - mobile phones, digital cameras, photo frames and game consoles. According to unofficial information, makes its debut on the new game console Nintendo, which has the working title of Nintendo 3DS. However, staff Sharp refused to comment on rumors circulating.
