Wozniak: Apple to do on your Android smartphone

The conference Apps World North America in San Francisco, Steve Wozniak gave a detailed interview to the publication of WIRED, which touched on many topics - from favorite color iPhone 5s (he has three) and ending with a fictional operating system in the movie "It". But the most interesting comments was his opinion that Apple should release a smartphone based on Android.

"There is no reason why Apple should stay away from Android, the company could use it as a second platform," - said Wozniak. "We could very well act in the market. People appreciate the style and quality of our products, it is higher than other products on Android. We could play on two markets simultaneously ».

Of course, iAndroid is unlikely, but from a technical point of view it is implemented. Android is open source and available for all manufacturers. Apple could make a fork Android, as did, for example, Amazon, and create a version that matches the spirit of Apple.

Despite this apparent trolling, Wozniak on the whole quite favorably about his former company. On the question of whether that innovation at Apple, it seems stalled, he said that everything is going according to plan and the company is just waiting for the right moment to release each of their product.

"Great products are obtained from the latent development", - he said. "You gather a small team of the best people to work on them, and they do not care about the rest of the comments about what they are doing. New product categories do not appear too often. Perhaps once every ten years. Sometimes you just have to wait ».

He also endorsed the decision of Apple did not introduce hundreds of new features in iPhone. "If you have something good - Do not change it, do not spoil," - said Steve. "The Samsung knows how to take a picture when pronouncing certain words, but how much innovation in this? This is simply the pursuit of more features ».

"People really do not choose smartphones based on their capabilities," - he added. "I think Apple is good enough, that would tell them no."
