"Intourist"

Rooms at the hotel have recently been newly renovated, so we are quite reasonably hoped for a comfortable stay. Expectations were met only partially. Check in at the hotel went without queues and delays. At the reception we were told that breakfast delivered to the room does not work, it is necessary for him to go down to the restaurant. Another unpleasant thing is that in our hotel at the time of settlement (and it was already quite late) Wi-Fi was only in the lobby on the first floor. To get it in the room, pay card required "Beltelecom" that have not been sold at the hotel and a nearby post office, where you can buy them, it had already been closed.
Apparently, the renovation of the hotel is not completely finished. If the lobby looks fresh and tidy, the view of the corridor on our floor almost left no doubt about that so visitors could watch it in the pre-perestroika times.











In fairness, we note that on other floors where the corridors have already upgraded, the situation is changing for the better.



No electronic locks - door opens common key. The first impression a double room left. It does not look shabby, all the basic amenities provided. Among the shortcomings noted at once modest size rooms and controversial interior design of the guest room, where the columns occupy much of its center.





















But we opened the windows a wonderful view of the downtown nightlife.





The room has no mini-bar, but visitors can take advantage of a set of dishes for six people. The television broadcast more than 20 channels, although the picture quality is poor. Refrigerator washed clean and in working order.

But the quality of cleaning and disappoint here: our inquisitive gaze directed at the shower, picked up her foreign body - as it turned out, it was a half-empty bottle of brandy left by someone from previous guests.





Now is the time to order dinner. Call the restaurant, we were asked to bring in a number of pork steak with a side dish of boiled potatoes, salad "Caesar", two American coffee and "Borjomi". The waiter assured us that the food will bring in 20 minutes, and do not lie - it brought even earlier. Check cost of 204 ths. Rubles.



The coffee was quite tolerable, chop - "fair." Meat was a lot, but, in our opinion, did not try to cook. It was a bit dry and had too much breading. But salad - podvyavshih of vegetables, and "Caesar" it can hardly be nazavat.

Summarizing, we can say that the hotel "Intourist" in Brest - this is not the worst option for travelers. One of the advantages of the hotel can be called a great location, adequate room furnishings, good food quality and efficiency of its delivery. Disadvantages are obvious: the absence of trouble-free access to the Internet in the rooms and sloppy staff. Rags dust remaining on his finger after they spend on the headboard, and half-empty bottles left by previous guests, the not consistent with the policy of the hotel, claiming to three stars.
