American photographer with Lithuanian roots Andrew Mikshes spent nearly 10 years making photos of the village disco in Lithuania, trying to show the unique culture of the world post-Soviet society. However, the locals were very different views on this photo project ...

Mikshis himself said he was shocked by the reaction of Lithuanians in his pictures. "I believe that in these pictures there is nothing to be ashamed of.
