10 cover versions
I decided to make a video post.
Today, on the way to work, not to sleep in the train, I began to mentally make a list of my favorite cover versions, more precisely, covers which I find interesting. Basically, I do not like the covers, sometimes it seems that rehash the legendary composition simply blasphemy. However, as with all rules there are exceptions.
Below I will give the top 10 best covers.
10. Korn - Another brick in the wall
Original Pink Floyd
9. The Beatles- Roll Over Beethoven
Original Chuck Berry:
8. Marilyn Manson- Sweet Dreams
Original Eurythmics:
7. HIM - Wicked Game
Original Chris Isaak:
6. Nazareth - Love hurts
first performed The Everly Brothers:
5. Guns n 'Roses - knocking on heaven's door
Original Bob Dylan:
4. Nirvana - The man who sold the world
Original David Bowie:
3. Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah
original Leonard Cohen:
2. YOUTH GROUP - Forever Young
Original Alphaville:
1. The Jimi Hendrix Experience - All Along the Watchtower
Original Bob Dylan:
P.S. And as a bonus, or the final nail in the coffin. If you would not know, I never would have thought that this cover:
A-ha - Crying in the Rain
Original The Everly Brothers
P.P.S. In this post there is another goal. Unfortunately, I rather limited person in musical tastes, so if you have a few minutes, write in the comments your favorite cover versions, I think it would be informative.
