Despite this, the autumn-winter creations clearly Lagerfeld fashion house Chanel returned to the roots - models paced the catwalk in classic tweed suits and evening dresses in the style of the 30's. Is not the creation of the legendary Mademoiselle?










A new collection of Chanel created mostly in shades of silver gray, pastel pink and blue and, of course, black. In general, it is a traditional color palette for Lagerfeld - in his work rarely seen a riot of color, and all other master prefers understated elegance of tone. The color palette remains the same, but it added luster and iridescence. Why are only silver lurex tights with the addition - an unexpected element of the image, giving credit to the fashion mid-90s.









Unlike many fashion houses in this Fashion Week, which is limited only dresses in Chanel clothing line images are presented for all occasions. The show opened tweed suit (with skirts and trousers) and coat with tartan prints, reminiscent of folk Patchwork, smoothly passed in silk and velvet dresses shone caftans of metallised material turned woolen pants ensemble with transparent blouses and finished with luxurious evening gowns trimmed with feathers and embroidery.

















The collection, in fact, was very vintage - this, first of all, indicate the items. Lush bows on blouses, deep V-neck in the finest silk dresses and buttons from my grandmother's casket send us in a variety of fashionable era. It is interesting that Carl decided not to stop at some one period, whether it be 40th or 60th, and combined them, received an unusual and at the same time very harmonious combination of styles.











Retro felt the spirit and accessories which, for all its apparent old-fashioned look very fresh and even innovative. The heads of the models were covered with extra-long takes with splashes of sequins and beads on their wrists adorned with leather cuffs, which Lagrefeld supplied even evening dresses, as well as ornaments were large rings with black and white pearls - the classic version, but bolder than a string of beads.











Bags tweed do not become for me a big surprise - Karl often sew accessories of this material (in this case they did look great), but the shoes, to my great surprise, made me associations with shoes Marie Antoinette.









At first glance it seems that the fashion show Chanel (at least by the standards of haute couture) turned out quite modest, but it's exactly the feeling accompanies you as long as does not appear on the catwalk model in a wedding dress. And then it becomes clear that the collection came as shocking and restrained as much as was necessary.
