Black Eyed Peas again accused of plagiarism
The American pop group again appeared in the center of a scandal involving plagiarism. This time, prosecutors made the singer in the style of hip hop called Phoenix Feng (Phoenix Phenom) and her colleague Manfred Mohr (Manfred Mohr). Prosecutors said that the band is simply stolen from Phoenix Feng her song entitled «Boom Dynamite». According to the couple, the song the singer was given a popular team, as their own and entered the album «The END» called «Boom Boom Pow». As the argument is almost complete identity of the text and the rhythm section.
Lawyer Phoenix Feng (Phoenix Phenom) also noted that the previous record company Interscope Records was interested in the work of his players. The singer even brought a demo tape of his compositions in the studio of the company. However, as a result, her work allegedly not interested in Major and Phoenix Feng was refused. Charges may well be true, since the contract at the Black Eyed Peas was signed to Interscope Records. The amount which appears in the statement of claim has not been disclosed. Recall that just six months ago, a similar indictment of the group performed an Englishman Adam Freeland (Adam Freeland) - DJ and producer. He claimed that he set the melody «Mancry» was used by the Americans in the song «Party All The Time». However, before the verdict, it never came. Parties differed amicably.
