Music festival "Eurovision - 2010"

Today, on the outskirts of Oslo, called Fornebu, launched its annual music festival "Eurovision - 2010". This will be the 55th year of this festival in the history of its existence.

The venue of the festival selected local sports and concert complex "Telenor - Arena", which is one of the largest facilities of its kind in Europe. This year, just three countries refused to participate because of financial problems: Andorra, Hungary and Montenegro. Czech Republic refused due to the fact that from year to year, its representatives rank low. In addition, the competition is not involved Luxembourg, which is not a member of the European Broadcasting Union. In the contest will be attended by representatives of 39 countries.
